Arvon walking retreat
“Perhaps”, wrote the poet Wallace Stevens, “the truth depends on a walk around a lake.” This course, run by the Arvon foundation in Yorkshire, and led by me, assisted by local walking author Christopher Goddard, aims to stimulate your creativity through a combination of daily guided walks in the woods and hills, readings and reflections from other writers, close observations of nature and landscape, time to spend on your own writing, and tutorials in which you will receive detailed feedback…
